Dressing for a funeral

D'Urban MTM grey wool suit, Brooks Brothers OCBD cotton shirt, Yves Saint Laurent silk tie, Pierre Cardin tie bar, Banana Republic leather belt, linen handkerchief, Cartier Tank wristwatch

This is what I wore to Saturday's funeral. Started off the day with a nosebleed. I love white shirt, ties, but not under these circumstances. Usually, I refrain from black belt and shoes, but in this case, nothing else would do. A dignified, respectful look is the key - understatement is the crucial element. Attention should never be drawn to yourself, and what you're wearing.
