Can a teacup improve the tea?

In all seriousness, this teacup is modeled on the traditional chalice used for Chinese green tea. You hold it by the little saucer, to avoid burning yourself. The lid, you use to keep it warm, as well as to gently sweep away any floating tea leaves, so you're not drinking them. Does the teacup you use influence the taste of the tea? This goes back to the wine glass/wine issue now, doesn't it?
