Sweet scents
Walking out of the garden, back onto DongGuanJie. GeYuan was wonderful, a fascinating look at traditional Chinese garden design. But I was hungry. And a sweet scent wafted by - deep fried fermented tofu. Rustic, richly-flavoured, and absolutely delicious. So I had to buy from the man - he made a fresh batch for me too.
