On shoe trees

Shoe trees are more important for your shoes than polish can ever be. Yes, it's not just about maintaining the shape of the shoe and preventing permanent creases in the leather - the cedar used in its constuction absorbs moisture to protect the stitching, and removes odour. Harry Rosen offers them in 3 sizes - they're also spring-loaded, to ensure tight fit. And we all know it's better tight.
