I'm so proud to get #IESEVino started, to share this with my classmates. On December 4, just as we were beginning a long weekend, a handful of my classmates got together at a restaurant for the first (unofficial) IESE wine club event. We aren't officially registered yet, we don't really have a finalized mandate yet ... shoot, we haven't even figured out what name we want to be called. But what I want - what's most important to me - is to shape this club into what my ideal of what wine is. I want it to be educational, fun, and irreverent. I want it to matter, and to let the European wine industry know about IESE, that we are students who understand and care about wine (and spirits, and beer). A lot to ask for? I don't think so. I'm heartened by so many classmates who've expressed interest, and support in what we're doing. In what we're trying to do. This first event, this was just a taste of what lies ahead.
